Arsenal fear Ramsey could miss six weeks with hamstring injury

The 24-year-old will undergo a scan to confirm the extent of the damage but fear he has suffered a Grade II tear, which typically has recovery time of four to six weeks.

Ramsey suffered three separate hamstring injuries  last season which blighted his campaign and Wenger revealed the midfielder was “very down” about his latest setback.

Wenger said: “He’s alright but very down. He told me he injured his hamstring. It’s quite a tough one.”
