Manchester United Wants This Arsenal Star at Any Cost in The Summer
Manchester United are reportedly ready to do all it takes to sign Hector Bellerin from their rivals, Arsenal, according to reports.
The Spain international has been linked with a move away from the Emirates in recent months to several top clubs in Europe.
Juventus are said to be the favourites to land the 23-year-old but United have now shown interest in Bellerin as well.
According to Daily Mirror, United have made discreet enquiries into the availability of the Spaniard in the coming.
The Red Devils are looking for a long-term successor for the aging Antonio Valencia who is now 32-year-old.
Bellerin at this age would fit the bill for Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, and by his standards would become a legend at the Theatre of Dreams.
Any deal would not be cheap for the right-back as his contract with Arsenal expires in the summer of 2023.
With Stephan Lichtsteiner set to leave the Serie A side at the end of the season, Juventus are keen on Bellerin as a replacement.
Barcelona have also been linked with their former academy product last summer before eventually signing Portuguese Nelson Semedo from Benfica.
Bellerin has made 37 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season as he has been one of the few players holding their own with the London club.
The Gunners are a massive 33 points behind leaders Manchester City, and have had a woeful Premier League campaign as they sit in sixth position.
Arsenal return to action after the international break against relegation threatened Stoke City, and take on CSKA Moscow in the first leg of the Europa League quarter finals at the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger side’s only hope of playing Champions League football next season is to win the Europa League in May.
