Cristiano Ronaldo is excited that his first son Ronaldo Jr is learning fast after he scored a brace for his Juventus youth team.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, October 14, the 33-year-old Portuguese star celebrated the two strikes with a heart eyes emoji.
The encounter saw the eight-year-old Ronaldo Jr, wearing the same No 7 jersey like his father, and was on hand to receive a decent pass on the right wing.
After controlling the ball beautifully, he skillfully avoided a defender with a back-heel skill as he headed into the vital area. And with the goalkeeper at his mercy, he exhibited calm and composure by rolling the ball past the goalie before smashing the ball into the net.
Interestingly, if Ronaldo Jr’s showcased skills and calmness before netting his first goal, the second goal was simply a demonstration of excellent shooting technique.
After racing down the right wing with the ball, he made his way into the 18 yard box before releasing a powerful right-footed shot that found its way into the net, leaving goalkeeper in dreamland.
Recently, Ronaldo admitted his son is not trying to follow his footpath, but has already surpassed him at his age.
According a UK Sun report, the eight-year-old has been shipping in goals for the Italian giants’ since his switch to the club following his father’s £88m switch, from Real Madrid over the summer.
At the last count, Cristiano Jr scored four times in his debut game for the Under-9s, which also parades the sons of Andrea Barzagli and Claudio Marchisio.
